Dan Ford speaks frequently on the subjects of leadership, executive search and patient safety. He also has contributed to numerous journal articles and book chapters, including “Fatal Care: Survive in the U.S. Health System.”

He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and served as past chair of the alumni council of its Graduate Program in Health Administration and Policy.

Dan is an active volunteer with a number of patient safety, patient/family-centered care, and quality committees regionally, nationally and internationally. These include the National Patient Safety Foundation, the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, and the Joint Commission. He also serves on the Patient Safety Committee of Catholic Health Partners in Cincinnati, Ohio.
