The first TEDxUSC "Ideas Empowered" conference took place on March 23, 2009 in the Bovard Auditorium at the University of Southern California. The one-day conference hosted a crowd of 1,200 USC students, faculty, staff and community members. Conference guests were exposed to new technologies, thought-provoking ideas, and industry breakthroughs.
